Action Water is a unique, innovative charity working on a shoestring.

Nevertheless during the last 23 years Action Water has helped well over two and a half million people gain access to safe drinking water and regain a degree of independence.

Being small ourselves we feel a natural empathy with other small organizations working with limited finances and are often to be found working in areas which have been completely overlooked by larger organizations, delivering aid right where it is needed; straight into the hearts of impoverished communities.

Action Water considers safe drinking water and adequate sanitation to be a basic human right.
